Mr. Robert Lee Anderson, 56, of Florence, passed away Friday November 09, 2012, in Muscle Shoals following an extended illness. Visitation will be 7pm until 9pm Sunday at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2pm Monday at Colbert Memorial Park. Officiating will be James Farris and Alvin Alston. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Anderson was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of the Annapolis Ave. Church of Christ in Sheffield. He graduated from Sheffield High School then served three years in the US Army. He worked several years in Louisiana before moving back to the Shoals area. He had been a truck driver for Eagle Truck Lines.
He is survived by his parents, Novella Anderson and Barry Anderson of Florence; sister, Patricia King (Sam) of Dothan, AL; two brothers, David Anderson (Tess), Waco, TX and George Anderson of Cottonwood, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins.
In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Alacare Hospice.
