Robert LaRoy Bennett, 83, of Elkmont, AL, passed away on Thursday, September 16th, 2021. Memorial services were held privately.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his daughter Sandra Kay Moss-Ellis (James).
Preceded in death by his wives Sue Pullum Bennet and Dorothy Tutthill Bennett; son Robert Duane Holt; and daughter Teresa Darlene Sutton.
Mr. Bennett was retired from the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense Finance and Services. He served our country as a Green Beret doing three tours in Vietnam in the 1st Cavalry, 5th Special Forces.
