Robert Joseph Lee, age 93, of Hendersonville and formerly of Robertson County, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Legacy Village. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Michael Smith officiating. Burial will be held in the Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimee, FL at a later date.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am until the hour of service at 1pm.
Mr. Lee was born October 30, 1930 in Osceola County, FL to the late Orie Neville and Lillian Hauptly Lee, Sr. He was a citrus farmer in Florida and member of the North Springfield Baptist Church after moving to Robertson County.
In addition to his parents Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Hildred Jean Hall Lee and his brother, Orie Lee, Jr.
Mr. Lee is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Darrell Baxter, Diane Webb, Sandra and Gary Lee Elrod, and Leisle and William Moening. Mr. Lee is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him very much.
