Robert James Zarada

Age 80, of Cottontown passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at his home. He was born December 19, 1940 in Thorp, WI to Edward & Christine Peterson Zarada. He worked as a general contractor for Christofferson Commercial Builders before his retirement. He enjoyed flying and owning his own plane, fishing, hunting and growing tomatoes in the summertime. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of White House First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edith Ritter and Susie Hartl; brother, Tom Zarada; great- granddaughter, Hope Severson. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Martha Jane Zarada, Cottontown, TN; son, Robert James (Dee Dee) Zarada, Jr. “Bob”, Savannah, GA; daughers, Elizabeth Zarada, Parker, CO, Kristy Zarada (Michael Tague), Minnetonka, MN and Deborah Long (Bud Wiesenthal), FL; brothers, Richard (Karen) Zarada, Wausau, WI, Frank (Jane) Zarada, Virequa, WI and John (Jerre) Zarada, UT; sisters, Ellen Arreguin, Huntley, IL, Irene (Bruce) Chronister, Queens, AZ and Gerri Karlen, Madison, WI; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned at a later date and this obituary will be updated at that time with that information.
