Mr. Robert James Rice, 93, of Scottsboro, passed away January 17, 2024 at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie Conner Rice. Bob and Marjorie were married for 68 years. Mr. Rice was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ.
His children, Sheryl (Rick) Baird, James Rice, Kimberly (Chris) Stewart; grandchildren, Lee (Ryan) Rice, Kathryn (Dave) Precise, Josh (Wendy) Baird, Meghan (Brent) Cornelison, Ryan (Ursala) Rice, Ann (Mark) Casella, Kelly Stewart; great grandchildren, Jackson Precise, Conner Precise, Annalee Rice, Finn Rice, Laurel Rice, Jacob Baird, Alex Baird, Ally Cornelison, Clay Cornelison, James Cornelison, John Cornelison, Emmett Casella, Henry Casella, Adalee Casella; sister Judy (William) Miller; brothers Regis (Charlotte) Rice, Dale (Janet) Rice; and sister-in-law, Anita Rice.
He was preceded in death by parents, Emmett C. Rice & Gladys E. Kniess Rice, sister, Lois McAlpine, brothers, Eugene Rice, Donald Rice and Terry Rice.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, Jan. 20th, from 1 – 3 pm at Broad Street Church of Christ, with Funeral Service beginning at 3 pm, also held at the Church, with Mr. Randy Brown and Mr. Mark Casella officiating.
