Robert J. “Bobby” McGee, 55 years old, of Paint Rock, Ala., passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, after a brief illness. His services will be held on Monday, Aug. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home, with burial at Paint Rock Cemetery.
He left behind a loving wife of 33 years, Annette McGee; a son, Robert J. “Robbie” (Tiffany) McGee II; three grandsons, R.J. III, Brayden and Logan, all of Paint Rock; mother and stepfather, Shelby McGee Zahnd and John Zahnd; sister, Michelle Wilson; two nephews; one niece; two great-nieces.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the Scottsboro Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bobby McGee Memorial in care of Scottsboro Funeral Home.
