Robert Gordon (Bob) Bayer, age 96, from Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Baltimore MD.
After serving in the army, Mr. Bayer worked for Revere Copper & Brass and relocated from Baltimore to Scottsboro with the company in 1968. He worked for Revere and later Norandal for over 35 years.
Mr. Bayer is survived by his daughter, Lisa Michelle Bayer of Smyrna GA and preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Tiedemann Bayer and his parents William Joseph and Marie Rivers Bayer of Baltimore MD.
