Robert Glenn Price, age 83, of Florence passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Visitation will be Friday June 7th, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Saturday June 8th, 2:00 PM. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carey Collum officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Larry Beasley, Trevor Beasley, Victor Cox, Jr., Sidney Thornton, Jimmy Hall and Bill Bowen. He was a member of Cypress Creek Methodist Church of Florence, and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife Ora Lee Garraway Price and parents, Edgar and Hazle Price. He and Ora Lee founded Valley Health Foods of Florence in 1966 and in 1970 they opened a second store in Muscle Shoals. Survivors are his aunt, Jean and husband, Lou Presley.
