Robert Glenn Haas, age 78 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems – Winchester, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 15, 1944, in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Jesse and Josephine (Gullatt) Haas. Glenn was formerly employed by Wilton Corporation, Brown’s Body Shop and retired from the Franklin County School System, where he was a custodian at Franklin County High School. He was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ and a 32nd degree mason at the Winchester Masonic Temple. Glenn was an avid collector of 50’s memorabilia, Lionel Trains and was a fan of Elvis. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vera Steele Haas of Winchester; son, Steven Glenn (Nancy) Haas of Winchester; daughter, Cynthia Ann (Ronnie) Matlock of Estill Springs; granddaughter, Hailey Rose Matlock of Estill Springs; sister, Patricia Ann (Anthony) Schwartz of Winchester. Visitation for Glenn will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 3:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Joseph Horton officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
