Robert Felton Dyer, 81, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Littleville, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Loren Mayhall officiating.
Robert was veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Littleville. He retired from Reynolds and was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge #36, where he served as secretary for nineteen years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Ruth Dyer; and great-granddaughter, Gaedrial Dyer.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Linda Sue Dyer; children, Raymond Dyer (Delila), William Dyer (Lynita), Mary Martin and special son-in-law, John Mance II, Felton Alexander Dyer, Martha Godsey (David), and John Dyer (Susanne); grandchildren, Patrick Dyer (Lisa), Stephanie Dyer, Mathew Dyer (Ashley), Brian Dyer (Paige), James Michael Smallwood, Alex Martin (Nina), Hope, Faith, and Charity Dyer, Caleb Norton, and Christian Torres; great-grandchildren, special great-granddaughter, Brice Dyer, Daniel, Jessie, and Destany Wood, and Stoli and Anastasya Dyer; and honorary fur-babies, Molly, Dallas, Mazie, Zelda, and Little Man.
The family offers special thanks to Washington Lodge #36 and Brother Rex Loren Mayhall for always being there when needed, and to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
