Robert Eugene (Toddy Boy) Jones passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014. He was born July 21, 1958. He was 56.
Viewing will be Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, from noon-2 p.m. at Saints Funeral Home Chapel in Sheffield. The funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Saints Funeral Home Chapel in Sheffield. Brother Wendell Olive is officiating.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother Rosie Owens, father, Nesby Jones, sister, Ernestine Owens, and brothers Alfred and Ernest Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lena Dossey Jones;
his loving children a son, Robert Jones Jr. and a daughter, Calena Jones;
stepchildren, James (Stacey) Kimbrough, Tim (Stacy) Cobb, Ponci (Rochel) Cobb, and Jackie Cobb; brother, Willie Jones; sister, Annie Rose;
uncle, Henry Owens;
nieces and nephews, William Owens, Reneata (Ben) Benjamin, Pamela (Gary) Smith, Cartez (Lillie) Owens, Alfred Jamiel (Kristi) Jones, Reneta Jones, and
Ernest T. Lee Jones Jr.(Bugger); sister-in-law, Teresa Jones; and special friends, Foster and Stef Bradley, PT Marian, Joy Evans, Tina McElroy, David Williamson, and Roger and Patsy Watkins.
Robert had 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, and family, and friends.
We would like to honor Robert for his time served in our U.S. Military. He was a five year veteran with the 101st Airborne Division.
