Mr. Robert Eugene Dewar III, was born on December 12, 2004 in Scottsboro, Alabama and passed away on June 26, 2024. At 9 months of age, he was placed in the home of Mark and Jodi Dean who loved him as their son for the remainder of his life. His custodial parents were his uncle and aunt, Jerry and Rebecca Allison from Lake Station, Indiana, where Robert lived the majority of his life. He returned to Alabama in March of 2023 where he began learning the family farm business at Dean Farms Inc. Robert and girlfriend, Kamren Saunders, welcomed a precious baby girl, Autumn Dewar, into the world on December 24, 2023. Robert was generous with his time and money, always willing to help others in any way that he could. He attended Roaches Cove Baptist Church with his family and often assisted with the food pantry deliveries.
Robert is survived by a multitude of family, both biological and chosen: Robert Dewar and Tanya Allison (biological parents), Jerry and Rebecca Allison (Uncle and Aunt who are custodial parents), Mark and Jodi Dean (chosen parents), Gabriella Allison (sister), Angel Dewar (sister), Addison Dean (sister), Kamren Saunders (girlfriend), Autumn Dewar (daughter), James Allison (grandfather), Kenneth and Pat Hughes (grandparents), Larry and Linda Dean (grandparents), in addition to many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
It was Robert’s desire to be cremated. These wishes are being honored and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
