Robert Edward Speegle, age 73, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Thursday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. Nephews and family friends will serve as pallbearers.
He was a member of the Painter’s local No. 1293. Preceding him in death were his wife, Darlene Speegle, and son, Robert Earl Speegle.
Survivors are his children, Linda Pipkins, Sheila Nelson-Rivera (Carlos), Regina Martinez (Jesus), Amy Pipkins (Joseph), and Bren Chaney (Chris); brother, Charles Speegle; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
