Robert Edward Larkin III, 61, of Vinemont, Alabama passed away on December 3rd, 2023. He was born on July 5, 1962 at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. He grew up in the Avondale community in Birmingham. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 11:00am at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00am
Robert was married to the love of his life, Angela, for 40 years. They were inseparable, and built a beautiful life together.
Among his passions were classic cars and airplanes. His fascination with these machines spoke volumes about his appreciation for craftsmanship, design, and the beauty of engineering. He was an HVAC technician for a company that he helped build, Larkin – Smith Refrigeration. He always wanted to be an entrepreneur and own his own business.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward Larkin Jr. He is survived by his true love, Angela Guthrie Larkin, mother, Linda Cofield, daughters Heather Mueller (Bryan) of Gulfport, Stephanie Medved (Renny) of Athens, and siblings, John Larkin (Lana), Leda Dimperio, Julio Dimperio (Adrianna), Amanda Dimperio Davis (D. Ray), Vitalina McCarty (Kerry), Kim Reid, and Daphne Larkin White.
He had 4 grandchildren whom he loved so much, Mariah, Raegan, Luna, and Max.
