Robert Edward Christian, age 80 of White House went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 17, 2024 at his home. He was born September 4, 1943 in Johnson City, TN to Ralph Edward and Laura Mae Young Christian. He worked as a machinist for Tate Fabricating until his retirement and was a long-time member of The Church at Grace Park. He was an avid NASCR fan and a skilled handyman, always willing to help the church or his friends’ complete repairs or little projects. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren more than anything and loved picking fun at his daughters. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Grace Eliabeth Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dana Christian, White House, TN; daughters, Elizabeth Anne (Wes) Crain, White House, TN and Lisa Juneil (Phil) Houston, Springfield, TN; brother, David Wyle (Sue) Christian Jonesborough, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jared (Alex) Crain, White House, TN and Sydney Crain, Nashville, TN; 1 great-granddaughter on the way, Amelia Rose Crain. A memorial service is planned for Friday, March 8, 2024 at 7pm at the chapel at Grace Park with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Visitation is planned for Friday, March 8, 2024 5-7pm at the chapel.
