Robert Earl McKinney, 72, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo . He was born November 11, 1943 to the late William Earl McKinney and the late Pauline Loden McKinney. He was a teacher and musician and he retired from Tunica County Schools and Coahoma Community College in 2009. He spent his retirement years traveling with his wife.
Memorial service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday July 23, 2016 at Fulton Church of Christ. Visitation will follow in the annex of the church.

Survivors include he wife, Janice McKinney of Fultom, Son, Bob (Brandi) McKinney of Tuscaloosa, AL, Daughter, Alice McKinney (Nathan) Henton of Searcy, AR, 2 Sisters, Sarah McKinney Cummings of Anniston, AL, Kathy McKinney (Danny) Moore of Collierville, TN, sister in law, Jean Chittom (Bob) Smith of Mooreville, He was “Oompah” to 4 Grandchildren, Miley Opal Henton of Searcy, AR, Katherine Garner Henton of Searcy, AR, William James McKinney of Tuscaloosa, AL, Camille Olivia McKinney of Tuscaloosa, AL, and 7 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister, Mary Nell McKinney Bard and her husband Phillip, mother in law, Opal Garner Chittom, brother in law, Jerry Cummings.
