Robert E. “Bob” Sutton, age 62 of Cherokee, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. His visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. Mr. Sutton will lie-in-state on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Cherokee. His funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Steve Slaton officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Bob was a native of Miamisburg, Ohio and a 20 year resident of Cherokee. He retired from Lowe’s as a manager after 21 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cherokee.
He is survived by his loving wife Becky Sutton of Cherokee; sons, Joshua Sutton of Woodland and Andrew Sutton of Cherokee; daughter, Melissa Howard (Derrick) of Tuscumbia; brother, Ken Sutton of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Mary Ann Guerrero of Griffin, GA; and four grandchildren: Destini, Andrea, Rebecca, and J.T.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Sutton, Ken Sutton, Derrick Howard, Vince Guerrero, Tony Smallwood, and Vince Barnett.
