Robert Douglas “Doug” Snider, age 48 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was born in McKenzie, Tennessee on June 19, 1975. Doug was currently employed as an industrial welder. He enjoyed riding his customized street glide Harley Davidson motorcycle, and RZR in the mountains. But most of all, Doug loved spending time with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Snider; and grandparents, Bill and Rubye Snider, and Robert and Joyce Davidson. Doug is survived by his wife, Bailey Ann Burns Snider of Winchester; children, Cain Snider of White House, Kelsy Snider of Paris, Kinsley Nichols of Jackson, Hailey Snider of Marysville, Ohio, Addison Snider of Marysville, Ohio, Ryder Burns of Winchester, and River Snider of Winchester, mother, Sandra (Michael) Sims of McKenzie; sister, Serena Tucker; and nieces and nephews, Kaylee Tucker and Lawson Tucker. Family and friends will gather from 11am-1pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to River Snider Scholarship Fund at First Bank in Decherd.
