Robert (Del) McKinney, age 65, passed away suddenly on Dec. 20, 2016. He spent the early part of his life in Florence moving to Lorain in the early 1970s.
Del was born in Montgomery, Alabama on April 4, 1951. He was the son of the late Bryant and Billie V. (nee Thornton) McKinney. He was a retired welder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather May Marie McKinney.
He is survived by his sons, Robert, Bradley and Clifton, all of Lorain; granddaughter, Emily McKinney; sisters, Jenny McKinney, of Dayton, Tennessee, and Carol Reynolds (Bob), of Florence; brothers, Bryant “Bubba” McKinney (Sharon), of Florence, and Allen McKinney, of Florence; and many nieces and nephews.
