Robert Darrel Bishop, age 60, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his residence.
He was born November 23, 1962, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Robert Bishop and Betty Brown Bishop McComb. He was a Maintenance Technician with the Marshall County School System and an avid car lover, especially his Chevelle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Basila and his stepfather, Bruce McComb.
He is survived by his wife, Pinky King Bishop of Hermitage; sons, Ryan (Veronica) Bishop, Cedric (Ann) Pigg all of Lewisburg and Adam (Lisa) Ewing, Rockvale; one daughter, Cherri Force; bonus children, Tracy Matthew-Wright and Gordon (Chenee) Matthew, both of Madison, TN; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Bishop, Huntsville, AL, and Tara Pigg, Lewisburg; special uncle, Billy Brown and cousins Jeff and Vanessa Brown; several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 12:00 pm at Liggett Street Church of God with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lewisburg.
Visitation with the family will be held at Liggett Street Church of God on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at noon.
