Robert Dale Franks, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Walmart, and a member of Deerfield Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Franks, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Franks of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Kim Brooks (Kevin) of Allen, TX; one son, Rob Franks (Shannon) of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Blaise Franks, Ashley Brooks, Emerson Franks, Cooper Brooks, and Laken Franks; his mother, Ellen Lou Franks of Leoma, TN; one brother, Mike Franks of Leoma, TN; and one sister, Susan Baggett of Smyrna, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Don West, Tommy Emerson, Chris Paley, Caleb Prentice, Josh Dickman, and Barry Brazier.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, April 26, 2021, with Ben Emerson and Tony Gordy officiating. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Deerfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
