Funeral service for Robert D. Haynes, 81, will be Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Haynes died on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 4, 1942, in Morgan County, to Herman Lou Haynes and Hattie Idell Engle Haynes.
He was a loving father and son, who was employed by Teledyne Brown, as a millwright and machinist, prior to his retirement. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran who served two years in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and will be missed by many.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Johnny Wayne Haynes, Lonnie Raymond Haynes and Donnie Wayne Haynes and a sister, Hattie Beatrice Haynes.
