Robert Charles Reynolds, 68 of Arab, Alabama, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Huntsville Hospital.
Robert was born March 10, 1948 in Marshall County to Richard Thomas Reynolds and Sara Louise Harvell Reynolds. He was married to the former Joanie Lynn Hawkins for 33 years. Robert was a Shift Captain for the Arab Fire Department and retired in 2004. He and his wife, Joanie owned and operated Parkway Flooring in Arab. Robert enjoyed playing softball, baseball, pool, golf, deer hunting and playing cards with his friends. He was a member of the Arab Masonic Lodge #663, York Rites and the Cahaba Shriners.
Robert was a member of Arab First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Joanie Hawkins Reynolds; sons and daughters-in-law: Chuck and Renea Reynolds, Joey Reynolds and Justin and Alana Reynolds; his daughter Robbye Reynolds; grandchildren: Reed Reynolds and Ross Reynolds and Grand Dog; Willa. He was preceded in death by his sister: Sarah Hudson.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday October 28, 2016 at Arab First United Methodist Church with Brother: Steve West officiating. He will lie-in-state from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday October 27, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
