"Buckshot" Robert Burns Saint Robert Burns “Buckshot” Saint, 87, of Russellville passed away Friday, July 12, 2024.
He was a graduate of Russellville High School. He worked with the Russellville Police
Department for 18 years and served as Chief of Police. He was a lifelong carpenter. He served
in the Alabama National Guard for 29 years and was a Russellville City Councilman for 8 years.

He was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church where he was a deacon and Sunday
School Superintendent.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Glenna Saint, sister Jeanette Gandy, and
brothers Jimmy Saint and Milton Saint, and granddaughter Lee Ann Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ann, his three daughters Kathy, Susan, Lori and
sons-in-law Todd Kelly and Wiliam Andrews. Grandchildren include Andrew (Lucy), Jeremy,
Walker (Lauren), Carol Ann (Nicholas), Aaron, Jared (Kayleigh), Seth (Sarah), Mary
Catherine,and Luke. Great grandchildren include Olivia, Sawyer, Hunter, Graham and Eloise. In
addition, he loved his nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends dearly.

Service will be held at Spry Funeral Home Russellville on Tuesday, July 16th with visitation at
12:00 and funeral at 2:00.   The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.  The pallbearers will be the grandsons.  The honorary pallbearers will be Larry Peppers, Bruce Fortner, Paul Pounders, and John Bonds
