Robert (Bobby) Esmond Willis, age 74, of Nashville, TN, died Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the VA Home in Nashville, TN.
Bobby was born May 11, 1949, in Lewisburg, TN, to the late Billy Ewell Willis and Alice Beatty Willis. He was employed by Heil Quaker for many years in the mailroom. He served proudly in the United States Marine Corp and received the National Defense Service Medal during his time in the Marines.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jana Mills Willis.
He is survived by one daughter, Margie (Brian) Pen, Lewisburg; four grandchildren; one brother, Buddy (Patty) Willis, Chapel Hill; one sister, Linda (Gene) Clanton, Lewisburg.
Bobby donated his body to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Anatomical Donation program for research.
