We are saddened to announce that Robert “Bobby” Brazelton Abercrombie also known as “Abner”, of the Oleander Community of Arab, AL passed away November 14, 2021 at the age of 77.
Bobby Abercrombie was born on August 14, 1944 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Robert E. Abercrombie & Odell Virginia Brazelton Abercrombie. Bobby was married to his loving wife Yvonne Nelson Abercrombie for 57 years at the time of his death. He retired from Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant as a shift engineer. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, golfing and traveling.
Bobby is survived by his wife Yvonne Nelson Abercrombie; son, Michael Shane Abercrombie; daughter, Tammy Michelle Wilbourn; mother in law, Irene Nelson; sister, Jackie Lynn Weaver; granddaughter. MELISSA KING; grandsons, Robert Keith Pickett, Daniel Colton Wilbourn, David Anthony Wilbourn, Dustin Lane Wilbourn; great granddaughter, Brittani Faye Pickett.
Bobby Abercrombie is at last reunited with his parents.
Visitation for Mr. Abercrombie will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with burial will follow at Oleander Cemetery with granddaughter Melissa King and T.G Jones speaking.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Abercrombie to his final resting place are Philip Nich, David Skidmore, Robert Pickett, Dustin Wilbourn, Daniel Wilbourn, Billy Pickett.
