Robert (Bobby) Adrain Pierce, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home near Crossville on Friday, August 9, 2024 following a long illness.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Albertville Memorial Chapel. Mr. Pierce will lie-in-state from 1:30-2:00 pm. Burial will be at Mount Flat Missionary Baptist Church near Rodentown, AL.
Reverend Joe Davis will be officiating and Pallbearers are Calvin Goggans, Billy Cofield, Michael Allen, Jedidah Hornbuckle, Jaren Lacey and Cade Smith.
Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife of 53 years, Myra Walker Pierce and his son Brandon K. Pierce; Brothers: Jimmie Pierce (Denise) and Ricky Pierce (Donna); Brother-in-law: Lyndon K. Walker. He is preceded in death by his parents Irene Goggans Pierce and Allen Kenneth Pierce: parents-in-law: Mildred and Clanton Walker. Mr. Pierce’s survivors also include: Aunts: Dicia G Prescott and Raccene G. Summerford Gillis. Cousins: Leslie Summerford, Lefty Summerford, Calvin Goggans, Edward Goggans, Barbara Goggans, Saundra Bass, Marty Hickey, Mary Ann McCllough, Faye Wright, Laura Joy Goggans, Larry Goggans, Joyce Goggans, Martha Goggans, Merita Laredo, Debbie Hawes, Bonnie Mathis and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
