Robert “Bob” Melvin King Jr., 63, of Somerville, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. A visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery.
Bob is survived by his father, Robert M. King, Sr.; sister, Linda Corbet (Danny) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy S. King and sister, Robin King.
Bob served in the U.S. Navy. He loved baseball, especially the Braves and Auburn football. He previously lived in Atlanta, GA, Las Vegas, Nevada and Madison, AL. He loved his family and was the caretaker for his father. Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
