Robert Benton “Red” McKnight 91, of Ardmore,AL died Friday, June 21, 2019 at Elk River Health & Rehab, Ardmore, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, November 30, 1927 in Ardmore, TN, he was the son of Boots McKnight and Charlie Mae McKnight. He enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, traveling, driving and working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Ann McKnight; sister, Ruby Smart.
Red is survived by his nephew, Hollis Smart; niece, Sandra Oglesby; and good friends, Nancy & David Rich, and Matthew Rich.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 11:00 AM with Friends and Family off
