Robert A McLeroy, 92 from Somerville died Tuesday Feb. 7, 2017 in Huntsville, was born on July 18, 1924, in Cullman to Benjamin and Effie Jane McLeroy who preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be Friday Feb. 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with Rev. Taylor Todd officiating and Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Decatur City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Mr. McLeroy was a U.S. Marine Corp, WWII – Retired from South Central Bell, Gentleman Farmer and Cattleman.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine McLeroy, daughter, Jenny McLeroy, Dear Friend Carolyn Bild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and the staff at Floyd E. “Tut” Fann Veteran’s Home.
