Robert A. Hackenfort, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hackenfort, son, Robert William Hackenfort, and brother, William Hackenfort.
Survivors include his daughters, Diane Eddiani of FL, Jean-Marie Bosch of NY, and Barbara Sales of AL; grandchildren, Marianne, Alexandra, Alea, and Marcel; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hackenfort served in the US Air Force and was a Kings Point graduate. He worked on the Lunar Module and was a senior systems analyst at Northrop Grumman before retiring.
He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, November 22 at Alabama National Cemetery.
