Robbie Mae Payne age 76, of Ashland, passed away on March 14, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Bluff Springs. No services are planned at this time.
Robbie was born in Atlanta, Georgia grew up in Fulton County, loved to travel and had lived in the Stone Mountain area and Milledgeville, Ga prior to moving to Clay County. She had worked as caregiver and also homemaker, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter; Tina Griffin (David Crowder) of Ashland, and her son Charles Thomas Minton III of Milledgeville, Ga, her grandchildren; Jeffrey Lee Crowder, Ryan Edward Crowder, and Charles Thomas Minton IV, one sister; Ethel Harrison of Stone Mountain, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert Edward Ergle and Lizzie Mae Crane, two sisters; Annie Lee Little, Francine Skinner, and two brothers; Ottis Snipes, Jack Snipes.
Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland is in charge of the arrangements.
