Robbie Lamon Clark, 78, of Decatur, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM at the chapel.
Mrs. Clark was born in Decatur, Alabama on December 21, 1946 to Howard Felix and Louise McAlister Lamon.
Robbie was crowned as Jr. Miss Tennessee; was an avid Tennessee football fan and loved The Great Smoky Mountains. She enjoyed camping and cooking, especially desserts as she had a sweet tooth. She loved watching “Friends” television shows; reading many books; and spending time with her grandbabies.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker so her greatest joy and source of pride was her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her kindness and love will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Although we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her loved ones on her birthday. What a celebration she had…one that we can only dream of!
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death her parents; and one daughter, Victoria “Vickie” Louise Posey.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Thomas) Lovett; grandson, Braxton (Maggie) Lovett; granddaughter, Briley Lovett; great-grandchildren, Gwenivere “Winnie” Lovett; and twins to come; as well as, her fur-baby, Jingles the Cat.
Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
