SHEFFIELD-The high school students in the Ritz School for the Performing Arts have been studying acting, voice, and directing throughout the 2021/2022 school year. Now they will be showing what they’ve learned in the annual RSPA Showcase, where they’ll be performing monologues, scenes, and songs from favorite plays and films.
As a supporter of the Tennessee Valley Art Association, you are invited to attend this exciting free event! Come out and support these talented students while enjoying some excellent performances. The Ritz Schools for the Performing Arts Showcase will be Sunday, May1 at 2:00 PM at the Ritz Theatre.
Call for Video Auditions Ritz Gospel Showcase due May 20
Tennessee Valley Art Association and the Ritz Theatre invites YOUR gospel choir to apply for the inaugural Handy Week event, the Ritz Gospel Showcase. Three Shoals area choirs will be selected to perform on stage at The Ritz on Saturday, July 23 for two performances.
The three choirs selected will share 50% of the gross ticket sales, which is potentially over $2,500 per choir! Choirs will be selected by a panel of judges selected by the Tennessee Valley Art Association. There is NO FEE TO ENTER.
