Rita Yvonne Ingram, age 56, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Thursday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on July 19, 1967, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Rita was the daughter of the late William C. Craft and the late Mary Jo Washington Craft. She worked eighteen years in Parks and Recreation for the City of Columbia. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church. Rita enjoyed singing, dancing, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Markease (Meagan) Ingram of Spring Hill, TN, daughter, Tiaira Washington of Mt. Pleasant, TN, brothers, Mark (Sharon) Washington of Texas, Wilbert Greathouse of Houston, TX, and grandchildren, Jaylen Ingram and Elliana Ingram.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob Cole, Bill Cole.
