Rita Sue Kramer Denham, 72, of Mt. Hope passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be from 1 till 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Bro. Ed King officiating.
A 1959 graduate of Roxana Community Unit Schools in Illinois, Rita accompanied her parents to the Moose Club as a child. She also attended Pine Grove Church and enjoyed caring for flowers, mowing grass, horseback riding, and playing the family activity Pokemon Go.
Survivors include her children, Christina Denham (Mark), Tammy Cagle (James), Carven Denham and Felicia; grandchildren, Trista (Paul), Joshua, Colton, Summer (Brian), Autumn, Bryce, Walker, Chase (Haley) and Blaine; great grandchildren, Samantha, Brian, Gabriel, Pagen, Cayley, Brooklynn, and Easton; sister, Noveda, a host of nieces and nephews; and fur-kids, Cocoa, Dapple, T.C. and Butterfly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, Lester and Sophia Johnson Kramer, and brothers, Texas, Joe and Henry.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
