Rita Littlejohn, was born on November 14th, 1950 in Oxford. She attended and graduated from high school before starting her career in dog grooming. Rita was a skilled dog groomer and had a sincere appreciation and love for animals. She took great care in ensuring that every animal that came through her door was comfortable and well taken care of.
Outside of work, Rita enjoyed spending time in her greenhouse where she cultivated a vast array of plants. Her love for plants knew no bounds as evidenced by the full-to-the-brim greenhouse that left little room to walk around. Her passion for cultivating plant life was something that inspired those around her.
Rita passed away on June 20th, 2023 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Throughout her life, she touched the lives of many people, including her husband Larry Littlejohn, daughters Jody and Larae, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Denton Armstrong and Eloise Sehmitz.
In conclusion, Rita will forever be remembered as someone who deeply cared about the well-being of animals under her care as well as being an inspiring plant cultivator. She lived a simple yet fulfilling life that brought happiness to all around her. She will be dearly missed by those who were graced with the opportunity to know her personally or professionally.
