Ms. Rita Faye Berry  Rita Faye Berry, aged 73, a beloved resident of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on October 10, 2023, at Marshall Manor. She was born on May 10, 1950, to her late parents, Joel “Johnny” and Virginia “Virgie” Bonds. Rita’s life was a testament to creativity, family, and love, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.
In her younger years, Rita discovered a passion for the arts, and was known for her remarkable drawings and paintings. Her artistic talents brought beauty and inspiration to the world around her and were a source of joy for those who had the privilege of witnessing her work.
Rita is survived by her loving sons, Chris Berry and Corey Berry, and Corey’s wife, Rusha Berry, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Christian Berry, Shawn Berry, Jade Berry, Zoey Berry, and Navey Berry, and brother, Van Bonds. Rita’s devotion to her family was unwavering, and the bonds she forged with her sons and grandchildren were unbreakable. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her love and affection.
In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her brother, David Bonds, and sister, Charlotte Gilbreath, leaving behind cherished memories of their time together.
A visitation in Rita’s honor will be held at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share their memories, and offer their condolences. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Albertville.
Rita Faye Berry’s legacy will forever endure in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered not only for her artistic talent but also for the deep love and care she showered upon her family. As we say our goodbyes, let us also celebrate the life she lived, the love she gave, and the memories she created.
