Rita Carol was born March 12, 1958 in Jackson County to the late Sylvester and Howard Bibbs. Rita departed this life on March 22, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL.
Rita accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at North Houston
St. A.O.H. Church under Elder James Nicholson. Rita worked and retired from Jackson Co./Highlands Hospital as a dietician for 42 years. She was a wonderful cook.
Rita was married to the love of her life Michael Wann Ellison Sr. for 23 years, (till death do us part) was her favorite quote. To their beautiful union came 2 daughters Dianna and Michelle and 1 son Michael Jr., 4 grandsons – Raheem Steward (Kellie), Jamal Steward, Trey Lewis, Micale Fennell, 3 great grands – Axton Steward, Makari Fennell, Allison Brynn Steward, 3 sisters – Debra Howard, Ann Nobles and Queenie Jones, 2 Brothers – Anthony Bibbs (Sam) and Glenn Looney, 2 Aunts – Linda (Johnny) Dillard, Cathy Patrick, 2 sister-n-laws – Martha Ellison & Alexia Ellison, 1 brother-n-law, Minister Earl Ellison and a host of special nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends,
too numerous to name.
