Rita Anna Royce Clark, 93, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mrs. Clark was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was known for baking cookies and creating detailed cross stitch pictures. She loved puzzles. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Clark; grandchild, Sam Clark; and great-grandchild, Taylor Cawthorne.
Survivors include her nine children, George Clark (Patsy), Rita McHone (Bobby), Anita Clark, Teresa Graves (Jim), Charles Clark (Joy), Lawrence Clark (Kathy), Kenneth Clark (Cheryl), Edward Clark (Nancy), and James Clark (Michele); 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Rose Mewborne.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 15 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The service will follow at the church with Father Michael Mac Mahon officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. (www.laughlinservice.com)
