Ricky Smith Ricky Smith born in Cullman on July 21, 1948 to Crawford and Vada Smith.
Ricky loved the Lord with his whole heart. He was a dedicated member of Living Faith Baptist Church for many years and was always quick to have a conversation about something he read in his Bible.
He was a handyman and could fix just about anything. He opened his own business, Smith Appliance and TV Service, around 1987. At his retirement in 2016 he estimated he had worked for 75% of the homes in Cullman County.
When not at church or working, Rick could be found in the woods. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the sport. He was a founding member of the R & R Hunting Club in Marion County, Alabama.

Ricky was preceded in death by parents, Crawford and Vada Baugh Smith; and sister Elba Faye Collins.

He was survived by his wife and caregiver, Dee Smith; daughters, Karla Billiot, Angie Baker Letson, Jenny Letson, Chellie Letson Wall (Jake), Mikaela Hunkapiller (Eli), and Jaisa Stephens (Griffin); sons, Tony Smith (Wendy), Brian Smith (Emily), and Joey Letson (Gail); 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; beloved dog, Sadie Lou; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be his 6 grandsons: Joe Billiot, Adam Billiot, JJ Letson, Anthony Smith, Austin Smith, and Bailey Smith.

Visitation will be at Living Faith Baptist Church on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with services performed by Bro. Larry Brown at 2:00pm. Burial will be immediately after at Cullman City Cemetery.
