Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Ricky Lee Thompson, age 52, of Wartrace, TN. Mr. Thompson passed from this life on October 31, 2021 while at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Thompson was a native of Platteville, Wisconsin and made his living farming and cab driving. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, farming and watching football. The family jokes about his favorite teams. Among those mentioned are Alabama and “another team”. If Mr. Thompson were here today he would proudly show you his credit card with “that team” on the card, although his sons prefer not to make mention of that team. Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Thompson. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing, his parents, George and Charlotte Thompson; sons, Bryan (Blanca) Thompson of Manchester, Lucas (Ava) Thompson of Tullahoma; daughter, Marissa Thompson; grandchildren, Jaxon Thompson, Emiliah Thompson, Mekhi Thompson; sisters, Becky (Alvin) Hoselton, Laurie (Don) Warren all of Tullahoma; brothers, George Thompson, Jason (Kat) Thompson both of Wartrace; mother to his sons, Pennie Peters; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 2:00, in the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home
