Ricky Hendrixson age 60 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday morning, December 25, 2024 surrounded by family and his four-legged companion, Tank. He was born September 1, 1964 to his parents the late Louise Pinegar Hendrixson and the late J.D. Hendrixson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Jerry, Randall, and Phillip Hendrixson. Ricky was a Baptist and a nursery worker. He is survived by his daughter, Natasha (Nathanyel) Pedigo; a step-son, Nathan Trapp; grandchildren, Kenadee and Katie Pedigo; a brother, Bobby (Joyce) Hendrixson; mother of his children, Renee Hendrixson; brother-in-law, Timmy (Angie) Foutch; special friend, Ernie Lynam; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of Smithville. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, December 27, 2024 at DeKalb Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Gentiva Hospice (Bobbie Sue) for the compassionate care provided during Ricky’s battle with cancer. There will not be any visitation or services at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
