Ricky Burlon Smith, 66, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away at his home Monday, November 20, 2023. He was born Thursday, January 17, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Burlon Smith and Irene Shelton Smith.
Ricky loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren’s ball games, camping, cooking and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and sister, Debbie Green.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sherry Smith, Elkmont, AL; father, Burlon Smith, Ardmore, AL; daughters, Stephanie (Terry) Barkley and Ginger (Patrick) Billions all of Elkmont, AL; brother, Timmy Smith, Dellrose, TN; and, grandchildren, Brody (Kayla) Smith, Breanna Smith (Hayden), Mason Billions and Kinley Billions.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 9 AM – 11 AM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL with a Chapel service following. Bro. Shane Reyer, Bro. Tony Turner, and Bro. Josh Pressnell officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Prospect, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Jason Anyan, Billy King, Tony Turner, Josh Pressnell, Josh Wilburn and Allen Aldridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Collin Daly, Eddie Gilbert and Donnie Smith.
