Rickie Thomas Ray was born on January 16, 1953 in New Caney, Texas, the son of the late Thomas Wilson and Lillie Bell Morgan Ray.

Rickie honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, where he retired as an Air-Craft Mechanic/Crew Chief with over thirty years of service. He was a handyman and enjoyed building and repairing anything. He was united in marriage to the late Mary Janice Ray.

Rickie Thomas Ray departed this life on August 4, 2024 in Hernando, Mississippi, at the age of 71 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Kelsey Ray Kimble and husband Ryan of College Station, Texas; brother, Dr. Adam Thomas Ray of Oregon; sister, Vina Brooks of Tuscumbia, Alabama; and grandchildren, Kelsey Elaine Kimble and Johnathon Adam Kimble; and the children of Mark and Kelly Cincurak, Averi Cincurak, Landrey Cincurak, and Lauren Cincurak.

In addition to his parents and wife, Rickie was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Edward Ray; daughter, Sabrina Ray; brothers, Tommie Ray, Leonard Ray, Larry Ray, Chester Ray, and Billy Ray; sisters, Martha Cox and Barbara Terry; and his first wife and the mother of his children, Terri Kay Williams Ray Baughman.
