Rickey Vest – Obituary

Funeral for Rickey Vest, 62, of Moulton will be Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Tim Sawyer officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Vest, who died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at his home, was born February 22, 1953, in Guntersville to Ival Limetine Vest and Mildred Lucille Vest. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked in maintenance for Big Heart Brand Pet Food. He was a member of Moulton Baptist Church. Rickey enjoyed bass fishing, spending time with family, and loving his grandkids. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Gray Vest; two daughters, Kasey Gibson (Jeff) of Decatur and Allison Cross of Moulton; his mother, Lucille Vest of Moulton; three grandchildren, Carson Gibson, Tanner Gibson and Bentlee Cross; three sisters, Sherry McCormack of Gadsden, Karen Bodine (Ronnie) of Moulton and Bonnie Russell of Moulton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Delbert Pierce, Chris Lackey, Benny Stewart, Matt Graham, Jerry Berry, Darrin Kerby, Scott Curry, Hunter Harper and Chad Mote.
