Obituary of Rickey Sue WilbanksA Celebration of Life Service for Rickey Sue Wilbanks 76 is set for 1:00 pm Monday at Jesus Name Community Church with Bro. Jesse Cutrer, Bro. Corey Porterfield, and Bro. Gary Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Family and friends gathering will be Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday from 11:00 am to service time all at Jesus Name Community Church

Rickey Sue died February 20, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Galesville, Al. She was born June 14, 1948, in Madison Co. TN. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a homemaker. She recently moved to live with her daughter in September 2024 from her home in Walnut. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, going to church activities and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C D. Wilbanks, son Matt Wilbanks; father Walter Yearwood; her mother and stepfather who raised her, Dorothy and Max Ferrell; her brothers, Palul Allen Yearwood, George Yearwood.

She is survived by her sons, James Wilbanks (Cynthia), Robert Wilbanks; daughters, Lisa Watts (Rob), Jessica Wilbanks (Jason); brother, Glen Yearwood (Jackie); sisters, Deborah Yearwood, Terry Lethco (George); grandchildren, Hannah Wilbanks, Tyler Wilbanks (Kristin), Cayla Kohl (John), Colton Redmon, Emily Quebedeaux, Elijah Wilbanks, Nicole Havis (John), Lenna Watts, Robert Watts (Brooke); sixteen great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Hope Hopkins Wilbanks; aunt, Frances Turner; and a host of other family and friends.
