Funeral service for Rickey Ray, 71, will be Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Decker and Bro. Fred Kuypers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church.
Mr. Ray died on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1953, in Talledega County, to Nolen Ray and Elizabeth Lois James Ray.
He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was a man of faith, who loved his wife, Kathy for 39 years. He was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren deeply. Rickey was retired from General Motors/ Delphi after twenty-five plus years of service as a Machine Opertator. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Kathy, his parents, and a son, James Joey Ray.

Daughter – Katie Lynne Key (Jesse)
Brother – Donald Ray
Sisters – Glenda Brockman
Sandy Erskine
Grandchildren – Ava Key, Thea Ray and Holden Ray.
Pallbearers will be Vinny Miles, Steven Ray and Jesse Key.
