Rickey L. Galloway, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Pontotoc Hospital. He was born December 18, 1946 to D.H. and Verlon Moss Galloway. Rickey was a graduate of Randolph High School. He worked at the Pontotoc Hospital from 1977 to 1996 as an Emergency Medical Technician and Ambulance Supervisor.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Lane Galloway officiating and Mallie Jean Finley will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Judah Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Galloway family.
Survivors include his son, Lane Galloway (Belinda); a sister, Margaret Schwalenberg; and two brothers, Ernest Galloway (Barbara) and James Galloway (Anna); he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be James Galloway, Ernest Galloway, Richard Galloway, Larry Dale Martin, Josie Pannell and Trent Clark.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
