Rickey Higland departed this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 52 years, 2 months and 16 days.
Rickey was born August 7, 1960 in Hardin County, Tennessee to Lee Cornelus and Dorothy Lou Benson Highland, who preceded him in death.
He worked as a machinist for Ripley Industries for twenty years. He also worked for the Parris Manufacturing Company in Savannah, Tennessee. Rickey loved to fish and hunt. He also loved all types of mechanic work.
Rickey is survived by three sisters, Janice DeLasemit of Counce, Tennessee, Mary Diane Highland and Sherry Lynn Highland, both of Savannah, Tennessee, two brothers, Donnie Gene Highland and Timothy Wayne Highland, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Arthur Benson.
